After moving on from the IT world, Dan decided to pursue his passion for all things music, establishing Evoke Sounds and building it in to the beast it is today.

Beat-maker extraordinaire, Nev began beat making in his early-teens, and since has created hundreds of world-class beats. Having worked with talents such as JPEGMAFIA, Nev has honed his skills to the point where beat-making is second nature and multiple beats are birthed on any given day.

Evoke Sounds is Australia's most unique production house. Literally located in a 1960s Hollywood-style mansion, one won't find a more interesting space for music creation this side of Los Angeles.

In the house, you'll find four studios and a live performance space:

studio A: mixing / recording

Studio A is our most premiere facility.

Located on our basement level, this purpose-built studio houses our gorgeous Audient large-format console, a dedicated recording room featuring a Yamaha Grand Piano and Gretch Drum-kit.

The studio is self-contained, accessible from street level and houses the all-important Snack Bar.

studio b: music production

Studio B is a music producer's dream!

Located on our ground level, this room houses our collection of synthesizers, a 32-channel DAW control surface and enough natural light to get your tan on!

Studio B has already produced a number of successful electronic music albums, with one eminent producer calling it "the hit maker".

studio c: multi-purpose suite

Studio C - a place to get lost in your imagination!

Located on our first floor, this room is the most ideal space we could imagine to write a song or learn the craft.

Housing an upright piano, a collection of guitars, full of living, breathing plants and bathed in natural light, Studio C is simply magic!
